Countywide meetings

The shortage of homes impacts all of us. That’s why now is the time to participate in conversations and plan together for current and future housing needs in all our communities. So what is a housing element anyway? It is a plan updated every 8 years that guides all the housing possible in every city and town in San Mateo County. In the Spring of 2021, we held five countywide meetings, with an introduction about the update process, why it matters, and countywide trends.
